What is Jalview: Jalview is a versatile, free-to-use computer software developed at the University of Dundee. It is designed to assist research scientists visualise DNA, RNA and proteins. Jalview’s multi-window interface allows you to view sequences, three-dimensional structures and trees. Sequences, structures and annotations can be load sequences directly from public biological databases.

Course description: The course provides hands-on training in loading, editing, annotating and saving alignments, viewing 3D structure and implementing a range of analysis such as multiple sequence alignments. The course will involve presentations, hands-on exercises and demonstrations.
