The one day Jalview hands-on training course is designed for life sciences graduate students and other researcherswho need to align and analyse proteins, RNA and DNA sequences. A series of short talks and hands-on exercisesduring the day allow participants to practice core Jalview capabilities, and explore some of the latest features, such asworking with UCSF Chimera for 3D structure visualisations, and importing and analysing genomic variants.Course materials also include an extensive manual (available as a PDF), and a suite of training videos demonstratingmany of the exercises.
If there are specific topics of interest, then I’m happy to tailor the workshop to suit, or allocate time during coffee or lunch.
Feel free to contact beforehand to discuss!
